Do the cameras photograph my face?
No. Notices show only the rear license plate and the rear of the car, with the rear window excluded. Facial recognition is prohibited.
Are there signs before a camera?
Yes. A PHOTO ENFORCED sign with the posted limit must stand no more than 500 feet before each camera, facing your direction of travel.
How do I know the camera is accurate?
Each camera must be inspected at least every 60 days and calibrated at least once a year by an independent lab. The notice must include proof of the latest calibration.
