No. Ease into the posted limit and keep a steady speed. Sudden braking is more dangerous than the camera.
Does Waze already warn about these cameras?
Maps apps may show some cameras through user reports. Speed Alert LA uses LADOT's official list of all camera systems, with the street segment, direction and posted limit, and alerts only for cameras ahead of you on your road.
